Chimezie , a hesitant yet charming boy. His sense of humour, and boyish good looks are what makes the girls fall for him. Chimezie never falls in love because he is scared, and cares too much about what others think of him. This is ultimatley what prevents him from being with that special girl. Chime-time 

Is when a thief moves past chimes with speed or energy fast enough such that the chimes play a quick tune and then go silent. Could also be a thief in and out, no delays, and moving thru whatever is in their way including the chimes.

When Mama said the babies were hungry and their was no food or money, Papa knew it was chime-time.
