Pronounced: "est-imate" but with a nearly silent "Ch"

A chesstimate is a wildly imprecise estimate, often inaccurate by about 58%. It’s used when someone has a vague idea of something but isn't too concerned with exact details.
Person 1: "When does the contract end?"
Person 2: "I chesstimate it ends on the hrrmmenrnrmrmrnemrnn."
