A river that runs through Novinger in Adair county in Missouri. The Chariton is a very muddy river, resembling the Mississippi. It is small, but it makes up for its size with importance. Many crickers used to use it for a source of water and as a trade route in the early 19th century. A small town in Iowa that is actually pretty boring, nothing happens there, There are 5 schools in the town. No matter how boring this town is when the college kids go away to college they all say they want to leave but it ends up pulling them back. The Chariton Pull :)
