Channelean

A term used to refer to people/peoples/cultures etc that identify with the Channel Islands through nationality, citizenship, and ethnicity.

The Channel Islands in the English Channel are inhabited by Channeleans, who live in the Channelean Islands of Alderney, Guernsey, Jersey, Sark. Channelean English is a dialect of English that is spoken in the Channel Islands.

Channelling is a concept in spiritualism where a person allows their body to be used by the ghost of a dead person, who can then talk to the others present through them. In casual speech, "channelling someone" means imitating another, acting, talking or thinking just like that person.
