A catastrophic event in online gaming where excessive pay-to-win mechanics cause an overwhelming imbalance, leading to a mass exodus of real players.

This term combines "cash" and "apocalypse" to highlight the disastrous impact of prioritizing in-game purchases over player experience.

The pay to win element caused a Cashpocalypse; now matches are full of bots and hardly any human players.

Rude and inconsiderate eruption of Icelandic volcano which suspended all air traffic into and out of Northern and Western Europe, in April of 2010, stranding hundreds of thousands of people and costing billions of dollars in damage.

The ashpocalypse has me sleeping in Heathrow for the fifth straight night; it's getting slightly uncomfortable.

A catastrophic event That only happens when all mice and rodents on earth disappear leaving cats nothing else to eat but humans. If you do not "let the dogs out" cats will devour your flesh, organs and poop. After devouring some of your body you are infected and turn into a cat/human hybrid. The Alpha cats eat the weaker cat/humans and shit them out creating an endless food supply.
