Burno, short for "the Burnaby". An affluent area of Greystones, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. Grand houses, expensive but tasteful cars dot the landscape, each dwelling resting on an average of 0.5 acres. Has become ultimately, the most exclusive area in Leinster, whose price tags and family inheritences make it extremely difficult to join this increasingly elite club.

gifted kid burnout

when children who were once considered the "gifted" or "smart" kids in class grow up to underperform academically and (likely) socially. the kid who actually liked doing homework and got all A's when they were nine but by sixteen aren't doing well in school and often feel crushing disappointment at the loss of approval teachers and parents once gave them. often have problems socializing, have poor mental health, and resort to drinking/drugs/other forms of escapism. usually really smart, but still do poorly/average in school.

amanda: didn't you used to get straight A's? what happened?

angela: i started underperforming and because my entire self-esteem rested on my grades so now i have no idea what to do lol anyway now i'm a gifted kid burnout

A character in Jojo's Bizarre adventure part 5: Golden Wind/Vento Aureo, he is a capo in the passione, where he leads his own squad commonly known as "Bruno's gang" and the "Passione boys". he uses the stand sticky fingers (Or zipperman for certain plebeians) whose ability is literally just fucking zippers. he is well known for licking doughnut boy wonder Giorno Giovanna , the protagonist of part 5.

post 9/11 culture burnout

A term to describe anyone who grew highly accustomed to the culture of the 1990's, and subsequently feels jaded about growing up in the information age, especially since the saturation of mediocrity that has dominated popular culture in the aftermath of 9/11.

Since 9/11, Western Culture lost its integrity, resulting in the following:
The declining quality of mainstream media, the excess of the youth, the superficiality of modern lifestyles, the rise of underage sexuality, the corruption of authority figures, the unethical practises of corporate institutions, the exposure of adult subjects amongst young people, the breakdown of gender roles, the general distrust of society, etcetera
