Bunny hops

A hop that covers more ground than just jumping straight up.
That guy/girl did about 2-3 bunny hops down the stairwell to escape becoming a human bowling ball. It didn't help matters that there was always the same guy (a potential human bowling pin) welding right under the wooden stairwell, ready to "accidentally" catch the building on fire, if one person who's ass they wanted to beat so badly wasn't enough.

Bunnyhop

Bunny-hopping is a movement technique in first-person games which can make it possible to move faster than the default maximal sprinting speed by timing the jumps with the exact moment the game character makes contact with the ground while alternating the direction of mid-air strafes. This can also make the player a harder target to hit in shooter games. Bunny-hopping only works if it is possible to strafe mid-air and the movement velocity is not capped at sprinting velocity.
He was bunnyhop -ping across half the map!

Bunnyhop

a method of gaining speed in First person shooters. Often confused with "hacks"
The scout bunnyhopped his ass around badlands. Grabbed that flag. And bunnyhopped is ass back to cap that shizzle.

Bunnyhop

Tactic often used by FPS players to avoid being shot for two reasons:

1) It is the closest thing to a dodge that older FPSes have.
2) Games, such as Half Life, have crappy ass hitboxes which USED to make you nearly impossible to damage.

A tactic often whined about (see example).

Bunnyhopper's Syndrome

Noun:
An affliction of the left hand's thumb muscles caused by overusing the spacebar in movement-heavy games such as Quake, Team Fortress 2, or any other keyboard and mouse game that involves a lot of jumping.
Common to those who have spent decades gaming on PCs. Symptoms include but not limited to a painful straining sensation in the webbing when opening the hand, a mild to moderate twitch in the thumb when resting the hand freely or when reaching for something, and painful thumb movements at the digit's full extension. See also Nintendo Thumb, Playstation Thumb, and Gamer Thumb for similar conditions
Bob had to give up speedrunning Half-Life because his Bunnyhopper's Syndrome flared up badly.

Shackteâu

A Shackteau is a humble, weather-beaten, structurally questionable shelter located in a spectacular or highly coveted place—Wales, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Crested Butte, coastal Maine, the Alps—where the building itself may be worth almost nothing, but the dirt, view, access, and mythology make it absurdly valuable.
In use:
Shackteâu - We thought it was an abandoned shed until the realtor called it a rare alpine Shackteâu with unobstructed views and listed it for $2 million.
