A word to describe a person that tries too hard to be different from others, offtenly has weird hobbies, weird clothes and/or is an outsider.

Example 1:

Person 1: "Hey, you heard about John joining a LARP group?"
Person 2: "Yes I did, he is such a buddup..."

Example 2:

Person 1: "Look at that guy! What a buddup!"
Person 2: "Haha, look at his mountain boots and that huge backpack!
