A term used to describe someone whose curiosity pushed the limit and does not stop. People will most often give this person a limited number of questions to ask in a certain period of time.

Person: "Bowmater, you were only allowed 3 questions a day."
Bowmater: "Yes, but I was just asking..."
Everyone: "SHUTUP!!!"
Bowmater: "mumbles softly to himself in anguish."

No a boy mate is not some one who has been 'friend zoned' he is your mate that's a guy, yes people it is actually possible for a guy and a girl to be just friends, without any heart ache. Usually that guy that you e known since birth, great kid.

Sophia: Hey Ben, just ringing to say you left your footy at mine...

Ben: great what's for tea I'll be right over.

Boydate

The relationship you may have with someone when it's not official, you're doing a trial run of an actual relationship. There's no real expectations other than the ones chosen by free will, and it's kept private from family and friends, making it easier and cleaner if it should come to an abrupt end.
Should only be monogamous if the intent of the future is a monogamous relationship. Otherwise poly / open is fine.
