A term used to describe someone whose curiosity pushed the limit and does not stop. People will most often give this person a limited number of questions to ask in a certain period of time.

Bowmater: "question, question, question, etc."
Person: "Bowmater, you were only allowed 3 questions a day."
Bowmater: "Yes, but I was just asking..."
Everyone: "SHUTUP!!!"
Bowmater: "mumbles softly to himself in anguish."

A person who has recently immigrated to America from a certain European nation. A first-generation born American may also exhibit "boater" tendencies. The opposite of being "Americanized." A term commonly used in the Detroit, MI area.

Boater tendencies may include:

-being a pack-rat such as canning your own foods, having a large garden, or making your own wine or lunch meats.

-having an uncircumsized penis.

-living at home with your parents until marriage.

-wearing fashionable European clothes such as Armani Exchange or Versace.

-growing up idolizing European soccer stars.

-getting hit by your mother or father well into your 20's.

Having a kitchen in your basement in very boater!

A term used in the Memphis, Missouri area for a person of lower class who generally lives in subsidized housing and/or lives off of welfare for multiple generation. Also classified as extremely trashy. Attire generally consists of dirty clothes that for men are too large and for women way too small. Missing teeth is a common quality. Generally an all around annoying person.

Make sure you watch that boater, he might steal some shit.

I wish boaters didn't invade the pool with their flabby bodies and jorts.
