The ket boglin will seek out ‘nests’ inhabited by other ket boglins and will stay for up to 2 weeks before venturing out for more ket. During the summer months these nests can grow to extraordinary sizes and form in fields and woods. Walkers are advised to stay clear however the ket boglins are mainly harmless and rarely bite. If you are approached by a ket boglin, try to stay calm and attempt to direct it back to its nest.
