A humorous or exaggerated way to say the span of
time or
space separating two distinct events. Often used when the gap feels notable,
dramatic or oddly specific. Slightly more whimsical than between.
Preposition adverb hybrid, informal.
I’ve only cried twice in my life, once out of anger and once when my dog died. The
time betweenst those two crying events was several years, which is why I say I don’t cry often.
The last
time I checked my bank account and the next
time I dared to look again, the period betweenst was emotionally necessary.
