Marching Band IS October = Bandtober
That month between September and
November where Band Fam is life.
Bandtober = no sleep, marching uniforms, bus trips, random food, marching,
music, yelling, loud noise, Drumline, dressing down, eyes up, laundry, being in every type of weather possible,
water breaks, popsicle days, marching each one together, football games, half-time shows, marching contests, moving heavy boxes from here to there and back again, you ARE the home team, fight songs, alma mater, tradition; marching band being your life… #Bandtober
It’s Bandtober! I’ll see you again in
November.
I can’t go to homecoming, I have Bandtober.
Will you go to BOCO with me? Sure, since it’s just for band and it happens in September, because I’
m booked solid in Bandtober.
You can find me in the band hall, on the band bus, at
the game marching during half time, a competition, or rehearsing for all of the above during Bandtober.
