A northwest Detroit street crew made up of multiple cliques (NSC, YNCMH, SMB, CutUpGang, Franchise) mainly affiliated with Mafia Insane Vice Lords. Known for tagging territory (#22 BandCrew, BAND CREW, YNCMH, PBF) along W. Seven Mile & Greenfield, holding block presence, and rivalries with TTO, RTM, BandGang, and others. Their members include rappers like Baby Smoove (R40s) and NSC Boonie (GD). “The Vets” or “22 Jackboyz” often enforce turf visually and through street activity.
“If you roll throughNorthwestDetroit, watchout for 22 BANDCREW—those dudes are still around, they’re proof the Vets run this block.”
A satirical political activist site who's goal was the abolishment and/or licensing of screwdrivers and various other power tools. A parody on many of the anti-gun web sites.
The discussion board had such members as pkingascwdriver, loose screws, screwage, clark, wonder cow, alter ego, and others. The threads were mostly quasi role playing, with users typically expressing a point of view opposite of their actual opinion for satirical purposes.
Outrageous solutions to the screwdriver "problem" were frequent topic of discussion, such as adopting glue and tape for all "fastening needs". After all, no one "needs" screws or screwdrivers.
pkingascwdriver, who in reality was pro gun control and one of the few liberal members of the banscrewdrivers forum, had a signature close to the following:
"Guns are tools and as such should be kept loaded in an unlocked toolbox or junk drawer for easy access and everyday use. Screwdrivers, on the other hand, are dangerous weapons, and if owned at all should be kept locked in a cabinet."
