A money grabbing exercise to take money from fans, but providing little to no evidence of where this money is actually going.
Prelude to Axanar, which raised hundreds of thousands, so was decided to turn into a feature film. Due to the events of a lawsuit in 2015, this couldn't happen, so 2 short featurettes were dangled infront of investors faces.
Warp to 2021 and there's still nothing to show.
