An answer to a question that states the obvious in a way that isn't overtly apparent. It may sound insightful, depending on the wording, but it actually contains zero information. It's essentially dodging a question without having to feel bad about it.
Exhibit A: Restating the question in an anti-answer.
"What would happen if there was 3 ducks over there?"
"There would be 3 ducks over there."

"How hard is beating someone in Chess compared to beating someone in Checkers?"
"It could be more or less."
