A dance movement that involves taking two steps for every step you take to the beat.

Predominantly used by ravers, a tireless rhythm that can be performed until the early hours without failure.
It’s like the soldiers march of the dance, you’ve just got to let the beat take over your feet man. 1 step = 2step

Midland 2Step

Following the completion of some "extra curricular" activity which ultimately prevents the "mark" from doing anything meaningful with their lives; the 'Maestro' of the "Midland 2Step" slides out of bed, moving majestically towards the window, the 'Maestro' then wipes his penis on the curtains, before exiting the window and taking off into the night.
Maestro: With all the grace of a one legged Swan, I busted out the "Midland 2Step" and I was out of there like a local with a Dole cheque.

Tuscaloosa 2-Step

You are in the act of having sex with your wife in a hotel room and just before you blow your nut. You pull out and take two steps over to the next bed and give your sister the money shot.
Last night after Alabama won the game I stubbed my toe doing the Tuscaloosa 2-step.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
