Where Mr. Rogers lives

not to be confused with the neighborhood of make believe where Mr. Rogers teaches us lessons with puppets...very creepy, disturbing puppets...

Neighborhood

The area of, or near, one's genitalia.
(If someone were to put their foot by your balls, you would say:)
"Girl, get your foot out from my neighborhood!"

(If someone comes to close to your balls:)
"Hey! You kids should play in your OWN neighborhood!"

neighborhood

A community of horses. Mighty noisy at feeding time.
Mr. Rogers' friendly peaceable neighborhood is comprised of kind helpful interesting humans; I'd be more than happy to be his neighbor. Mr. Ed, on the other hand --- or rather, on the other HOOF --- has his own "neigh"-borhood which I'm sure is equally pleasant and cheerful, but it's entirely made up of "equine" citizens, and as mayor, "The Big E" is obliged to haul the ponderous creaky ol' hay-'n'-oats cart around to each and every house three times a day to deliver his four-legged friends' breakfast, lunch, and supper rations. A real **drag** (pun intended), but somebody's gotta do it.

Neighborhood

Things work a little different when you're in your own neighborhood versus when you're somewhere you're not from.
There was no greater hypocrisy than someone not from an area/neighborhood trying to run somebody who was from the area/neighborhood off. It began to get highly inflammatory for a good reason.

neighborhood

The incorrect spelling of the word neighbourhood. Since us Americans are fond of chopping letters off for no good reason, we ended up with wrongly-spelled words, "neighborhood' for example.

Kid 2: It's neighbourhood, you fucking idiot

trucker's tan

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.
I had a trucker's tan after driving for 10 straight hours on a sunny day.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.

Pee Calculus

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
I saw Satantango last night, wonderful film but by the 5th hour I had to start doing pee calculus.
