The phenomena of rappers accidently (or intentionally) exposing themselves for a crime they have committed through the lyrics of their music, often in gangster rap. The term was especially popularized by the song "Rap Snitches Knishes" by MF DOOM.

rap is crap

A phrase said by all rap haters, and why? because they have not heard true rap. It's as simple as that. Look at what others say. An oxymoron. Saying good music is bad. Listen to people like Tupac and Biggy. Big Daddy Kane. Public Enemy. KRS-One. Underground rap.

On the other hand, it is indeed an opinion and people really don't care when you say it because they are doing more important things with their lives.
