A large project that was approached as a series of small, incremental changes, even when illogical to do so. Commonly found in DIY repair or Software Development.

My father decided to renovate the kitchen in stages, so we have tile from the 60s, a fridge from the 70s, a counter from the 80s, and only half of the floor has hardwood. The rest is patched together linoleum. It's a real Ship of Feceus
