Awkward Daps

When you attempt to give someone a handshake and it turns into a disaster. Usually, Awkward Daps results in a three finger embrace, a dead fish hand (from either party), or a mixture of a pound and a handshake put together.

Dude, when I was leaving the party John tried to give me Daps while I went for the handshake. I met him somewhere in between; Gave him awkward Daps and called it a night.

awkward pelican

A quirky individual whom resembles a pelican and is said to have the ability to transform into a pelican during uncomfortable (awkward) moments. These individuals are said to be descendants of the underwater sea king Tritan and his bird loving wife, Henrietta. "Awkward pelican" individuals can usually be found frequenting sea ports or beach towns, especially on the east coast of the United States. They tend to smell like fish because that's what they eat in the pelican form.

OMG she smells so fishy, she must be an awkward pelican!

Awkward Nightmare

A dream that does not illicit fear but an extremely uncomfortable feeling. Similar to that feeling of being in a crowded room of loud boisterous foreigners asking for directions and not knowing the language or able to find the exit.
