Trying really hard to figure something out, but getting bogged down in the tiniest of details or similar, but irrelevant ideas. Usually results in going down a rabbit hole and confusing the individual trying to figure that something out.

John tried to figure out the answer to 4+4, but ended up timming so hard when he started theorizing how numbers and equations were created. John ended up confused and never figured out the answer to 4+4 because he timmed so hard.
