The ninth chevron is dialed, and the evacuation takes place onto an Ancient ship called "Destiny". Exploring human nature and focusing more on the stressed inter-personal bonds of people stranded on a space ship billions of light years away from home, the show was met with great reviewes from critics, but according to some fans of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, failed to meet the legasy of it's predesesors. Sometimes this show is abbreviated to SG-U or SGU.
