As the great Maddox puts it,
Blogger is a term used to describe anyone with enough time or narcissism to document every tedious bit of minutia filling their uneventful lives. Possibly the most annoying thing about bloggers is the sense of self-importance they get after even the most modest of publicity. Sometimes it takes as little as a referral on a more popular blogger's website to set the lesser blogger's ego into orbit.
Then God forbid a blogger gets mentioned on CNN. If you thought it was impossible for a certain blogger to get more pious than he was, wait until you see the shit storm of self-righteous save-the-world bullshit after a network plug. Suddenly the boring, mild-mannered blogger you once knew will turn into Mother Theresa, and will single handedly take it upon himself to end world hunger with his stupid links to band websites and other smug blogger dipshits.

Chuck: Hey man! Last night I updated my blog.
George: <kicks Chuck in nuts, cuts arms off, crucifies him, then roasts over fire and makes shiskabobs.>
Moral of the story: Bloggers must die a horribly painful death. Plus the ladies totally dig cannibals. Double score!

To blog about a current event or issue because everyone else is blogging about it. Derived from the word bandwagon which is a popular idealogy, hobby, interest that a person takes up because everyone else is doing it. Likewise, a person who jumps on the blogwagon will often do so to make themselves feel as if they are part of the community of others who have already commented on the event. It also makes them feel important because they think they have something important to say, when in reality they are simply reguritating opinions already portrayed everywhere else.
After reading many other comments about the stranded refugees, Suzy jumped on the blogwagon and wrote a post describing how much it personally pained her to see so many people in such horrible conditions.

Get the blogophobic mug.The kind of ego-floating verbal masturbation performed by bloggers who post their diaries online. Before the internet, this level of emotional accessing only occurred in the bathroom with a tissue to clean the mess.

Get the blogurbating mug.A blog or blogger that sports a flamboyant and irresponsible approach to blogging with shrieking, gaudy, sensation-loving, devil-may-care kinds of content; content that take an iota of truth and embelishes it into such an oblivious state that it becomes nothing more than total fiction. If the information blogged about is inaccurate or biased, the public has little means for verification. With this sort of influence, some wield much self-perceived power. In order to increase whatever it is some wish to increase, these "Yellow Bloggers" turn the high drama of life into a cheap melodrama, writing stories that have been twisted into forms best suited for sales by the hollering newsboy of a cyber-version tabloid.
