group home

A place where troubled and mentally retarded teenagers are placed. A place for orphans to go. The unwanted are placed here for mental issues or behavioral correction.

We wished we could put sarah back in the group home but nobody wants her, not even them.

four food groups

In elementary and secondary school, we are taught the four food groups: meat, dairy, grain, and fruit/vegetable.

Upon reaching college, we learn that they are really pizza, caffeine, Twinkies, and alcohol.

My mother tried that four food groups crap on me when I was a kid.
