Quarter life crisis 

When a person, usually male, finishes high school or college, and gets their first job. Before they settle down and get married, they are under pressure to live life to its fullest, just like they wished they could have as a student, but couldn't afford to at the time. It is usually characterized by taking wild and extravagant trips and purchasing items that are considered for bachelors....

Wow! Pablo just bought a BMW, kegerator, big screen tv, outdoor heater, and has become a world traveler. He must be going through a quarter life crisis. He better enjoy it while he can.

Single life 

1. A term commonly used by skanks,
Expressing love of single life, because they can't keep a relationship for any longer than a week.

2. Someone that has just emerged from a long-term relationship and is trying to show their ex they're doing better than them.

3. There's a certain breed of people that just care for relationship "the lucky ones".

A self-explanatory phrase, uttered to accentuate a point, usu. the impossibility or extremity of a situation, with the stress/accent on "life"

I hate my life 

Common phrase used by females to express discontent in a current situation. These females are often the ones who use the phrase "can you not?"

"I hate my life" is usually meant to be a speech filler; it holds no significant value to a conversation or situation. It is probable that the female is trying to seek attention after mis-performing or failing some task, however, little sympathy is provided by the surrounding population.

Some proper responses to the phrase are the following: "Aww," "Uh oh," and "What happened?" It is disrespectful to reply with the following: "I hate your life, too," "Hahaha, you suck," and "Oh, you fail."
