Also known as "bleached punk," bleach punk is a subsection of punk which includes a more light or washed-out look than traditional darker punk styles, hence the name "bleach." Bleach punks also tend to have a more 90's pothead vibe unlike their edgier punk counterparts. They prefer to use a more grunge or "chill" attitude and style to push traditional punk values - similar to pop punk styles. Bleach punk is about honoring punk values, interests, & political views through casual personal care & protest-like customization to the norm.

Some bleach punk clothing includes washed-out or home-bleached cloth in jeans, shirts, & other clothing items; chains & studs; bleached-out or light, messily dyed hair to give a washed-out look; full-white outfits; heavy accessories; and an all around dulled, yet lighter, color pallet.

Bleaching Socks
