mammary memory

A man's ability to remember any bare breast that he has ever seen, with a high level of detail, even many years after the last sighting of the remembered breast.
At the age of 52, Bill was thankful that his mammary memory allowed him to continue enjoying the sight of his college girlfriend's bare breasts, even though they had broken up before graduating from college.

Repressed Memory Emily

A therapy doll used by guidance counselors
Mr. Frond: Don't throw Repressed Memory Emily!

nostalgic memory

My personal Time machine allows me to go backward in time for the purpose of enjoying the good experiences of my past lived life.

Not to be confused with critical memory the time machine that searches out the bad experiences in hopes of finding someone to hold responsible.
I remember when sex was safe and hang gliding was dangerous but that is a wonderful nostalgic memory.

Critical memory

My disabled offline personal time machine once used to relive bad experiences with the sole purpose of finding the responsible person and punishing them instead of allowing God's karma to do it for me.

progressives have not disabled critical memory and still use it for vigilante social justice.
Personal inner tranquility was instant the moment I disabled my Critical memory and took it offline.

cinemagraphic memory

Frame by frame photographic memory, allows recall of events in real time.
I have a cinemagraphic memory.

recovered memory therapy

A discredited form of psychotherapy which typically:
1. assumes that childhood trauma (usually sexual in nature) is the basis of most psychological symptomatology;
2. assumes that people who have no memory of such trauma have probably "repressed" it through some arcane and undemonstrated psychological process, blocking it out of their mind completely;
3. assumes that it is necessary to "recover" these "repressed" memories in order for healing to occur;
4. assumes that methods known to produce false memories, such as hypnosis, guided imagery and EMDR can be used to produce accurate recollections;
5. often assumes that "flashbacks" and body memories are signs that the memories recalled are accurate, because of the mistaken view of the therapist that memory is "like a video tape recorder" that permits playback.
The "recovery" process often recommends cutting off contact with people who question the memories, including but not limited to family members who deny that the events so recalled in fact occurred. Recovered memory therapy is a major source of false memory syndrome, and has led to numerous false allegations of 'Satanic Ritual Abuse.'
"Whilst undergoing hypnosis as part of recovered memory therapy, Sally remembered being forced to kill and eat a baby she had given birth to after her father had raped her. The fact that she was found on medical examination to be an intact virgin suggested the likelihood of false memory syndrome."

Strobe Memory

After a night of pure drinking debauchery, the limited information you have about the night before results in a few static images of the evening, its events and the people you interacted with.
Last night I got totally blitzed. I was with this hot girl at the end of the night. She came back to my place. It's too bad I have strobe memory cause I am pretty sure I laid the pipe!
