Vanity Tweet

These are tweets sent out by Twitterers with a vast collection of followers, but who only follow a handful themselves. Generally the celeb end of the spectrum.

Noted for inanity and the transparent 'need to be appreciated' usually displayed by the sender.

When Shakespeare said 'All the world's a stage...' He didn't mean this.

Peep the Tweet

This phrase is said or texted if the speaker wants someone or a group of people to look at their last tweet. It is at the "Peeper's" discretion to determine if it's favorite or retweet worthy.

Kon: "Peep the tweet!"
Chris: "Lol Kon! I favorited it!"

trash tweet

1.) A disparaging or comical insult made in a competitive situation, usually a sporting event, directed toward one's opposition via twitter.

2.) A tweet that is intended to insult and disparage a rival. May or may not contain the hashtag #trashtweet or #fail.

Addison also tweeted a series of trash tweets to the other team likening their playing to that of little girls including - "My little sister can play basketball better than the @rivalteam."

Donald J Trump, the 45th president of the United States, is unquestionably the most famous, active and talked about Twitter user ever. He is the boss! Numero uno! The greatest of all time! Let him forever be known and celebrated as Boss Tweet!!

Late 19th century New York City had as their mayor the prominent figure of political corruption one Boss Tweed. It is now the early 21 century and there is a new prominent political figure blessed with questionable morals, immense bluster, itchy twitter fingers and an insatiable need to be flattered that some are beginning to call Boss Tweet.

Hate Tweet

To bad talk or otherwise reprimand someone via Twitter. Hate tweets can most often be found in profile updates from one's account, but are occasionally posted as comments to another user's profile.

When Jack checked his Twitter page, he discovered somebody had left him a hate tweet, resulting in Jack's great displeasure.
