A nickname for 45’s Supreme Court nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, due to her affiliation with People of Praise, a small religious group who refers to its women members as “handmaids,” thereby highlighting a similarity to Margaret Atwood’s “The Handmaid’s Tale” whose character Serena Joy is equally diabolical in her anti-feminist agenda.

Serena Joy Barrett is the perfect high ranking intellectual vessel to make women believe they are being elevated and empowered when exactly the contrary is true.

Subconscious Attention Seeker

This term is used to describe a person who instinctively butts into a conversation without real thought and blurs out an obviously untrue response just for attention.

Jamie: "Hey Kieran, sorry to hear about your tongue"

Kieran: "Thanks, there I was skipping along and I just bit my tongue and now it's bleeding."

Robyn: "Hey did you guys say something about a tongue? I once bit my tongue off and it grew back in 2 days!"

Jamie: "Sure it did..."

Kieran: "Oh leave her alone, you know she's a subconscious attention seeker and will say anything to look cool"

Jamie: "Fair play"

Seren

Seren's are usually very attractive, but they realize this and take full advantage of it, which takes away from their beauty. They usually are self absorbed but are always funny and nice for the most part. Seren's can seem innocent but when you get to know them, they are the least innocent people you will ever meet. They are very quick to try and grow up. Seren's are sweet girls and have good intentions but make some mistakes here and there that they will definitely regret for the rest of their lives. Seren's have an outrageous laugh that brightens up everyones moods. If you know a Seren, consider befriending her, you will thank your self all the time, but make sure to keep an eye out for her and prevent her from making more mistakes.

Girl: Did you hear about Melissa? Hahaha she was chased by this huge dog yesterday! It was hilarious! We wished you were there!!!

Serena is seen as an immature person but uses this as a shield to hide her insecurities. She comes across as rude and uncaring but the people that she is close to she will protect with her life. Serena doesn't put up with any crap and avoids most drama, she prefers to settle any arguments. She seems shy when meeting new people but she always wants to make new friends. Serena is not a jealous person and likes to roll with the flow. She sets her own trends and doesn't care about what others think of her. If Serena is happy with herself that is as good as she is going to get, she will not change for anyone. Serena prefers to have a few close friends she can trust but also lots of other friends that she can hang with. Serena's friends can vary from nerds to gangstas. Serena is usually the class clown and is just a generally good person
