The great divider

A term used to describe President Obama. Before coming to office he said he was going to unite the nation, yet all he has done since is divide us all in to two camps (i.e. those who are with him and who he calls "smart" Vs those that have a different point of view that he treats like the enemy).

One does not have to look far .. just watch his every action as they speak to the above definition 100%. He is the Great Divider.

The Divine Comedy is a british pop band from Ireland that is led by the only ever-present member, Neil Hannon. The Divine Comedy is also an epic poem from the 14th century that is about heaven and hell.

Usually Hannon hires an orchestra in his songs, and its sounds really awesome. Listen to 'Die A Virgin'.

The Divine Comedy had a song in the beginning of "Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy" entitled "Thank You For The Fish".

Shit clan on the game runescape who mass recruited a bunch of 12 year olds from the clan Dark Slayers who died because their leader claimed to have a real life so he shut it down. Now Divine Forces or, Divine Slayers, Dragonhide Forces, think they are the best on the game of runescape when they suck.

Divine intervention

When god makes something happen. A prime example is when in the 2001/02 season when west brom had to win at bradford in the 2nd last game of the season to be in the front seat for promotion ahead of deadly rivals wolves. We never really looked like scoring, but then out of knowhere, the ball was hoofed into the box, and bob taylor was fouled and we had a penalty!! Igor balis slotted it way and we went up next weekend. Cheers god, I owe you one.
