Eastern New England Accent

An accent of English spoken in the East of New England.
The border is traditionally the Connecticut River, which separates the accents of Eastern and Western New England.

Eastern New England accents are non-rhotic while in Western New England the 'R's are pronounced everywhere.

Acceleration marks are crap stains that you intentionally leave in your underwear. They are in essence, the opposite of skid marks, and are so named accordingly.

All that chilli I ate yesterday has let me do some sweet acceleration marks in my shorts. Just a little scratching is all it takes.

british accent

There is no such thing as a "British accent" - Britain is made up of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. There are literally hundreds of different accents spoken across the whole of the British Isles. The accent that people are most commonly referring to when they say "British accent" is an accent spoken in some parts of south east England.

The south east accent is the one most frequently heard outside of Britain in the media and in films (curse you Hugh Grant!) so people don’t really hear many different accents from across the British isles which has led to the stereotyping of the "British accent".

Indian Counter part of Received pronunciation.

A accent spoken by upper class of south Mumbai, it has thus been seen as the accent of those with power, money, education, and influence. It is different than Indian english accent.
