preppy

Preps are people who have class, and are kind. They are not what most people believe to be snobby rich kids who have daddy and mommy do everything for them. Preppy people are polite . Preps wear Lacoste,Polo,Henri and Lloyd, Helly Hanson,Burberry,Gucci and wear rainbow flip flops, and top sidders. THEY DO NOT WEAR HOLLISTER, ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH, AMERICAN EGALE,. They sail, play tennis, golf, play lacrosse, and sometimes play soccer. Not all kids go to preps school. Some go to elite public schools. They are from New England. Mostly southern Mass, some parts of Rhode Island, and Conneticut. They have a house on the Vinyard, the cape, or Nantucket. They also have a yacht.
They think paris hilton and hoolywood is gross. We dont follow trends. Preps for the most part are old money families. We listen to Jack Johnson not 50 cent. Preps drive Volvos, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Lexus, Jeep Grand cherokees, Range Rovers, Saabs, Cadillacs, Lincolns, Corvettes, Jaguars, Bentley, Porsches, Ferraris.
They do not buy the things because of how much they cost they buy them because they are the best quality.
They all have Boston Whalers. They all are members of a yacht club or two and a beach club. Sometimes a country club.
Preps are good people. People that don't like preps just are jealous or they dont know a real one.
I am a prep one of few in my school. A true prep. i go to a public school. I am the only true prep at my school. My school is full of wanna be preps who wear a&f. So if you dont agree with the page then you dont know a true prep.

Preppy kids are members of yacht club.
Preppy kids love to sail.

A preppy girl is not always the one who wears hideous amounts of pink and green. True those are our signature colors but there is a lot more. Preppy girls are NOT the mean snobs, those are the wannabe preppies. Us true preppies spend our summers on Martha's Vineyard (etc.) and attend prep schools like GDA and Noble & Greenough. We are not the ones that wear slutty clothes from Abercrombie although we may wear a few pink and green things from there. We are the nice kids who tend to do very well in school but have fun while doing so. Our children will eventually be preppy too. To be preppy you have to be NICE!!

Preppy Emo Girl

she is emo to get attention, like when she breaks up with her boyfriend or has fights with her best friend. she acts like she has been through the holocaust at home, but really when her parents fight they buy her concert tickets. she calls her best friends sisters and then asks her boyfriend (in front of her sisters) "can you divorce sisters?" *laughs*. then when she runs into the bathroom that night and cuts her leg! her freakin leg! then she blogs about cutting away the memories on myspace. prep preppy preppity prep!

rocks out to here in your arms by hellogoodbye, miserable at best by mayday parade && lullaby, by shawn mullins (the three songs on her ipod that she thinks are emo, but really are just pre 2005, except miserable at best, millenium-shock shit. she thinks she is emo but really is just a preppy emo girl.

A person who rarely, if ever, makes wild assumptions based on inaccurate B movie depictions (usually involving William Zabka) and can spell challenging words such as "Abercrombie" and "arrogant," but never wears one and never subscribes to the other.

To which our Preppy responds: Actually, it's L.L. Bean, and I wouldn't just assume you dropped out of middle school because of your spelling.

Preppy Scene

Is the same as Scene Kids, except wearing things like Abercrombie, and Holister along with band t-shirts, and still having the Choppy poofy scene kid hair, The style just isn't as bright and out there as Scene kids. And they still listens to rock music unlike normal preppy people only listening to Rap.

Preppy Scene Girl wears: Tight Abercrombie Sweatshirt, a Fall of Troy t-shirt, and TIGHT denim jeans most likely with holes in them, while having really poofy hair probably with colors in it, and most likely has a septum ring or angel bites.

A true prep is a person who wears Ralph Lauren, Lily, Brooks Brothers, Lacoste, and has no association with A&F, GAP, or any other low class brand of clothing. Preps do not wear tight clothes and rarely ever wear make-up. You have to understand the true lifestyle to be a true prep. And you have to be associated with Betez, its a must ladies and gentleman.

(1)Preps who rock the double collars should be held with great respect.

(2) Johnny R, Phil Tuch, Betez, etc.


(3)Its not a clothing style,but a life style.
