Hooker Hours

When someone keeps odd hours.

When someone sleeps during the day and is awake during the night. Not necessarily a hooker but originating from a hooker in the strange hours they keep i.e. 6am go to bed, 6pm time to wake up.

Anything that is not 9 to 5 i.e. shift worker, insomniac, sex maniac, prowler, hooker, street hustler, prostitute, drug dealer, addict, paranoid schizophrenic, stalker, peeping tom, voyeur, exhibitionist etc

after hours

Sometimes means "after party", but it usually means a more mellow gathering of friends rather than a rowdy party. Basically, it's whatever you're doing after the bars close.

Usually not referred to in the past or present because it sounds pretentious -- only in the future tense.

1) "Do you know of any after hours?"
2) "What are you doing after hours?"
3) "There's supposed to be an after hours at Moe's pad.

Incorrect: "We had a really good after hours last night." or "This after hours sucks."

Sad Nigga Hours

Sad Nigga Hours could refer to the act of having, or being, a homie whose going through a lot right now. This could be caused by a breakup, a family member dying, being robbed, or just simple depression. Sad Nigga Hours usually refers to the times between 7:30 pm and 2:30 am, also known as Real Nigga Hours. However, unlike Real Nigga Hours, which are usually more upbeat, Sad Nigga Hours is usually a time of being there for your depressed friend, or having them be there for you.

Sad Nigga Hours was popularized by the meme song of the same name, by Lil Boom.

Person A: Ah, shit, man. Has charles been any better?
Person B: Nah, man. It's getting late, too. My watch reads 7:29!
Person A: It's bouta become Sad Nigga Hours up in here...
Person B: We better be here for him.

Real Isopod Hours

The time between 1:00 AM and 5:30 AM where people leave their bedrooms in search of food, then stub their toe and wake the entire house up.

mommy hours

Business hours that are worked around the workers' childrens' schedules. For example, a business may only be open on weekdays from late morning to early afternoon, when children tend to be at school. Therefore, the business is rarely open at times when customers can actually come to it.

I heard good things about that hair salon, but they're on mommy hours. Only open from 10:30-2 on weekdays and never on weekends, so I can never go to it.
