It is generally derogatory, but can be used in reference context

"los gringos saben ingles" (the Americans speak english)
"Fuck you gringo" (fuck you whitey)

A go getta of sorts, Someone who is constantly doing things that promote them selves or there objective.

Does what it takes to get where there going, looks back once in awhile but never stops.

Grinda's possess willingness, business, and achievement skills. Some a gift and others leaned.

Grinda's are simalar to other titles like hustlers, go getta's, and usually possess street smarts.

Gringo Wannabe

Typically a foreigner that would love everybody looks at him/her as an authentic white american. They will try to speak only in English and imitate the american accent as much as possible and they will get really mad if you try to speak with them in their first language.

María: ¿Cómo estás Juan?
Juan: what did you say Mary? I don't speak spanish anymore, Stop speaking in spanish to me, I'm gringo now.

American, from the USA. The term comes from the american intervention in mexico in the late eighteen hundreds. Term derives from the popular phrase "green go home" yelled to american troops because of their green uniforms. It does not mean "white" or "caucasian" it is a derrogatory term depending on the context.
Gringa: female gringo. In mexico city it is a dish of shepherd style pork and cheese in aflour tortilla topped with coriander onion and pineapple.

It would suck to be a gringo, everyone in the world would hate you.
