The name Brookes students give to the other University so others don’t get confused on which University they go to, in our hearts, OBU is the best Oxford University.
There was this Uni of guy last night who kept talking about rowing.

Pull a Uni

To vehemently maintain that one is awesome at something, despite evidence that the person actually really sucks at it.

The act of not having the sense to admitting one's deficiencies in something right after proving that one is deficient.
-"Dude you just scored an own goal!"
-"No man, I'm awesome. It was just the wind, I'll score the next goal."
-"Dude, don't pull a uni..."

If you act like a player in front of your friends, then freeze up when talking with a chick, then brag to your friends about what a player you are later that night then you just pulled a uni.

Glasgow Uni accent

A strange mix of American and Edinburgh accents, affected by Glasgow university students who are renowned as being arseholes. Primarily heard in the West of Glasgow.
He's got a Glasgow Uni accent, but the cunt's from Possil, what's that aw aboot?

Trials Uni

A unicycle which is used for hopping, jumping, or riding over various obstacles. Usually has a smaller wheel then a normal unicycle, and stronger components to take extra punishement. In use, the rider hops the trials unicycle over rocks, barriers, curbs, ramps, or wooden pallets. Might also be referred to as a Tuni, but the name has never become popular.
I took my trials uni downtown and had some fun.

Just out of uni

An expression used to describe someone who naturally looks quite young and around the age of someone who has just graduated from uni (university). They are however much older and in their 30's. Looks can certainly be deceiving!
Person 1: I'm just sharing some email links with you to assist. I assume you are new to the workplace.

Person 2: Ummm, I've worked here for many years now. I'm actually in my 30's.

Person 1: Woahhhhh! Sorry but you look like you're just out of uni! I cannot believe it!
