1. the act of seeing how long you can go out with a woman that expects long term commitment and you are just trying to date and see where things go. 2. A useless test of endurance that never ends and everyone ends up the winner or loser depending on how you look at things.

My buddy Dustin and Sean really have found their soul-mates, but it seems that they are still running the marryathon and working out all the kinks in their relationships before they have a double wedding on the Love Boat.
