Brain Processing Disorder

1. Also known as BPD for short.
2. A problem, where the brain becomes overloaded with information, and is unable to process things properly. The effects, things, such as speech, concentration, and learning.

So far, there is no known reason what causes it. It can happen to anyone, at any age. It is different for everyone, but usually not constant. It comes and goes.

A person, who has frequent BPD, almost always has trouble trying to explain something. They will struggle to get the information out. Their mind will go blank, due to what is known as Brain Fog.

Symptoms:
Lack in concentration.
Long pauses when trying to speak.
Mixing incorrect words, such as calling things by the wrong name.

Unable to think clearly.
May seem naive.

Possible Causes:
Stress.
Too much thinking.
Struggling with everyday stuff, such as saying everyday things, due to Brain Processing Disorder. Many things, that should be obvious, are not.

Sometimes, when people speak to you, you can not understand them, as if they were speaking another language.

Personal Project

A project completed in grade 10 that nobody likes and has absolutely no benefits. You usually write a +3500 word essay written on the night before you have to hand it in, a process journal with faked dates and progress, and a crappy final product. In the presentation, you try to make it seem as if you actually did any work for the first half of the time given, if not at all.

If you are an IB student, after finishing you will be glad to realise that you don't even need to have a final product to pass and that you've spend all this time for nothing, as well as having to do the same fucking thing next year in Diploma.
"Did you pass the Personal Project?"

"Barely, I stayed up all night to finish my essay and pretty obvious when you read it"

Projection

A sociological phenomenon where members one group of people accuse members of another group of feeling or acting in a manner that they themselves are engaging in, often to divert attention from their own behavior . It is particularly common among groups living with high levels of fear or resentment.
When party leaders accused their opponents of voter fraud, it was all just projection; because in reality they were working to rig the election behind the scenes.

Project Semicolon

Project Semicolon is a movement started in order to raise awareness as well as support those who suffer from depression, anxiety, suicidal tendencies, or other mental illnesses by using a semicolon to signify that the person suffering from these disorders could have ended their life, but chose not to.

Amy Bleuel founded Project semicolon with this goal in mind: “Project Semicolon is a global faith-based non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and love to those who are struggling with depression, suicide, addiction, and self injury. Project Semicolon exists to encourage. Love and inspire.”

April 16th is the day that is most widely known for someone to show there support for either loved ones they know are suffering, or for those who live with these illnesses every day. The process is simple, just draw a little semicolon on your wrist. More and more, tattoos have been becoming a rising expression for people suffering.
On April 16th, my uncle drew a semicolon on his wrist for Project Semicolon

My sister has been dealing with her depression a lot better since she has found out about Project Semicolon.
