They also tend to wear excess amount of hair gel ( amounts that could feed hundred of starving children in Malayasia). Gold, expensive-looking chains and dress pants complete the look. Yuppesters also tend to like to quote movies from long ago, and love to hold ridiculous opinions about everything from politics to sex with absolutely no proof whatsoever. Simply put: the world would be a much better place with out them.

Get the yupster mug.A place -- usually a dining establishment of some kind -- where yuppies tend to go to eat/drink/socialize...though others go there as well. Such places tend to have haute cuisine and vary in price from slightly overpriced to outrageously overpriced, but are frequently worth it.
I don't go to the Intermezzo often because it's a crowded, overpriced yuppiteria, where people sit around on the patio talking about yuppie things and showing off how swank they are... but they have nine kinds of Hot Chocolate on their recipe and an entire wall of desserts. Sometimes you just gotta have it!

They tend to go to Starbucks and take advantage of the Wi-fi available there. Will also go to Panera Bread Company if craving bread. (Wi-fi also available at Panera.)
Short for Young Urban Professional, they tend to stray away from their parent's traditions and accept a more ecclectic lifestyle paying outrageous amounts of money for coffee, clothes, and other things.
