Bloonfie

*Theory* First discovered on a niche meme gif on 04/29/24, the term bloonfie refers to one psychically connecting to a chronically-online individual through shared trauma or powerful wisdom, unattained by the bystanders around them.

When taken literally, though, we can only suppose the radical “bloon”, taken from the Bloons TD battles video game franchise, seems to refer to a balloon. And the ending “fie” or “fy” meaning “be made”… as such, “Bloonfie” would signify someone becoming a balloon.
As seen on the gif: Bloonfie to Bloonfie… Communication!

Ari: “LET’S BLOONF TOGETHER.”

Anne-Ma: “Idk what a bloonfie is.”

Normie bystander: “Ohmagad, these gals are SO bloonfing right now! I’m so jealous.”
