a modest proposal

A Modest Proposal is when somebody suggests that eating babies might not be such a bad idea. This is taken from the satirical book of the same name written by Jonathan Swift in 1729. He frankly suggested that poor people ought to sell their children as food to the upper class in order to stimulate the economy and bring Ireland out of a sort of depression. Here's an excerpt: "A young healthy child well nursed, is, at a year old, a most delicious nourishing and wholesome food, whether stewed, roasted, baked, or boiled; and I make no doubt that it will equally serve in a fricassee, or a ragoust."

Jane- "That infant child looks delicious. I think we should eat him."

John- "That sounds like a modest proposal to me."

Wah Modiji Wah

A popular slang in India which refers to a person who does something wrong and shows arrogance instead of feeling sorry. The word 'Wah' is a Hindi word for praising someone, in this case, it is being used sarcastically.

When a driver pulls over in the middle of the road to drop-off someone and blocks the whole traffic behind him/her and gives you a rude look when you ask him to clear the way. In that case, you can just say 'Wah modiji wah!'

GameFAQs Moderator

Impotent idiots who don't even know how to run GameFAQs. Heck even a monkey can run a better site than them. You can compare them to a country that is run by a dictator. There are actually smart moderators, but most moderators are just corrupt and ignorant.

I got modded for telling about an experience i had by a stupid GameFAQs moderator.

Rocko's Modern Life

Definately the best cartoon Nickelodeon has ever done. It lasted 4 seasons and only 52 episodes. If you didn't like this show you were eather to young to understand the humor(propaly from 1-8) or too old to actually consider changing the channel to nick. Now all Nickelodeon shows is 50 episodes of SpongeBob(a show that definately isn't one of Nick's absolute best, definately better than Rocket Power and the Wild Thornberrys) and 20 episodes of Fairly Oddparents (Not funny or entertaining show)

Anyway, Rocko rocks this world.

A cigar ridden of its original tobacco filling, and then refilled with another substance, usually cannabis.
