American Dad

American Dad is a show by Seth McFarlane, who is also well-known for creating Family Guy. Unlike the latter, American Dad is a well-written, satirical comedy for politically conscience people. If you don't have a certain degree of intelligence, it's unlikely you'll really grasp the humor used in the show.

Family Guy fan-boys are notorious for bashing American Dad due it being non-repetitive.

Although one may not like the show, it's hilarity can't be denied.

Family Guy fan: "DUDE! American Dad is SO lame!"

American Dad fan: "Go crawl back under your rock fan-boy!"

The attitude of American people to explain different cultures to the same people that culture belongs to, and the assumption that they are right despite never having actually set foot on those people’s countries (or never having google it).

Americasplain is the dumb answer you receive in a polite conversation about your culture. You'l never know when it comes, but it's on its way.

American High School

A school in the Fremont Unified School District. The only time the students seem alive is during Spirit Week. Not a ghetto school, but it did have fight week. School where you can find the most Indians and Filipinos. Most of the school budget goes towards the firefighters that respond to the weekly false fire alarms. The school used to look broke broke, until they added the new buildings and trees around it, but now it just looks less broke. The only school in the FUSD that doesn't have off-campus lunch.

Overall, good school cause, hey, at least it's not Kennedy or Washington...

We Believe You, Captain America

A deadpan, snarky response to an unbelievable series of events that is related to you by a friend or co-worker. Taken from the classic Lee/Kirby issue of THE AVENGERS where Captain America is found in the Arctic, having been frozen in a block of ice since the end of World War II.

After he is thawed out, Cap relates the following tale: "By some fantastic stroke of fate, I must have been frozen in an ice flow, and then found by some eskimos who thought I was a supernatural object. Then, all those years, being in a state of frozen suspended animation must've prevented me from aging."

The rational response to all that malarky? "We believe you, Captain America."

Frantic Guy: I'm sorry I'm late! I was riding my bike here & nearly got hit by a plane making an emergency landing! I freaked out & slammed into a fire hydrant, flying over the handlebars and right into the arms a visiting Sumo Wrestler!

You: We believe you, Captain America.
