Evolutionary Creationism

Essentially a synonym for Theistic Evolution, but sometimes emphasizing God's ongoing, intimate role in the process more strongly. It asserts that evolution is true, but it is God's creative mode. The focus is on "creation" as the continuous, purposeful action of God through natural means, rather than a one-time event. It's the theological position that tries to have its scientific cake and eat it devotionally too.

Example: "The Evolutionary Creationist Sunday school teacher used evolutionary trees to teach about God's providence. 'See this branch? That's where God, working through natural selection, began the line that would lead to creatures capable of knowing and loving Him.' The kids were cool with it; the elders were nervous." Meta-Creativity

The process of creatively designing or manipulating the very conditions, constraints, and processes that lead to creative breakthroughs. It's not about having a new idea, but about engineering the personal habits, environmental triggers, and mental states that make novel ideas more likely to emerge. This includes techniques like deliberate constraint-setting, cross-disciplinary immersion, or ritualized "idea incubation" periods.

Example: A writer suffering from block doesn't just stare at a blank page. They practice Meta-Creativity: they change their physical environment (works in a café), imposes a strange constraint ("write a scene using only dialogue"), and schedules "non-thinking" walks. They are creatively hacking their own creative process to force new connections.

Self-titled creatives that roam the streets of London, fueled by overpriced iced oat milk lattes and a vague sense of purpose. Often seen waving their hands and using words like ‘visceral’ and ‘transcendent’ in front of artwork and chainsmoking outside an underground artist’s show (don’t bother asking, you probablly wouldn’t know them).

Football Creationist

Noun: Person who believes that Football in England was created in 1992 when their God (Alex Ferguson) invented the sport exactly as it was described in their holy book (Football for dummies) and did not exist before. Will often voice such opinions vehemently and refute any proof to the contrary.

Don't talk to that melt, he thinks football started in 1992, those football creationists are mental in the head.
