A ringing in the ears that sounds like a hovering mosquito, brought on by the anticipation that mosquitoes WILL begin to torment you just as you are dozing off.

I spent half the night swatting mosquitoes that weren’t there. Guess it was just mosquito tinnitus.

Tiny, bloodsucking demons that are everywhere when the weather is hot and have annoying, high-pitched buzzes. They bite you and drink your blood. Known to spread deadly diseases as well as annoying, itchy whelts. It hurts when they bite, too.

mosquitohawk

The term originated at UC Berkeley by a Mechanical Engineering student. A mosquitohawk is a person who wanders around completely inept. A mosquitohawk is characterized by dead eyes, walks into walls, poles, doors, and has a strange attraction to warm lights(the typical Berkeley Egineering student).

While heading to class, a mosquitohawk ran into me on the side walk.
