Kmart sliders

During the 1980s, poorly made athletic shoes sold at Kmart, usually under the brand names of athletix, trax, or dynamax. The nickname sliders was derived from observing the less-fortunate kids who wore them in gym class, sliding all over the floor due to the poor quality of the soles.
Rodney missed school today because he slid into the bleachers and hit his head while playing floor hockey in gym class, likely as a result of wearing Kmart sliders.

Keep Your Rifle By Your Side

A song meant to be satire but quickly became the modern version of Yankee Doodle
John: "Have you ever listened to the modern Yankee Doodle?"

Alex: "Hell yeah, Keep Your Rifle By Your Side"

Side-by-Each

Refers to two objects that are aligned beside each other also known as Side-by-Side. Others have stated that it is used in Rhode Island, it is also prevelant in Newfoundland and Quebec and I beleive would be likely to be encountered through many east coast fishing communities.
It would be interesting to know if this originated from the French or Irish or through the Acadians.
