Car Tickles

A Car Tickle (according to my daughter) is the act of running over the little bumps on the side of highways (rumble strips)
While on a phone call with my daughter. Dad “what was that noise I just heard?” Daughter “oh that was just a car tickles” Dad “what” Daughter “you know those little bumps that make it feel like it’s tickling my Jeeps belly”

Car Closet

When you travel so much your car has become some sort of extended closet of every sort, clothing closet, shoe closet, utility closet, bathroom closet, activity closet, and the dreadedjunk closet, because your car is consistent and your car closets prepare you for your possibilities on your various journeys
Oh, we are gonna go swimming, hiking and then go a wedding even if though I just drove 8 hours to get here and can’t stop anywhere first? Let me check my car closet. I’m sure I have the appropriate dress for the occasion, and can change in the car closet as well.

Car Show Trophy Whore

Trophy Whore (noun)

In the car scene (especially classic cars, hot rods, customs, and shows), a "car show trophy whore" (or just "trophy whore") is a slang term—often used self-deprecatingly or teasingly—for someone who's heavily into chasing and collecting trophies at car shows.

What it typically means:
They enter a lot of shows specifically to win awards (Best in Show, class wins, people's choice, etc.).

They might haul their car around frequently, polish it obsessively, and get visibly disappointed or vocal if they don't place.
It's similar to "trophy hunter" in gaming: the focus is on racking up wins/awards rather than purely enjoying the hobby, the build, or the social side.

People sometimes use it affectionately about themselves ("The trophy whore is back baby!" after a win) or as light shade toward others who seem overly competitive or sore losers about judging.

It's pretty common banter in car club Facebook groups, forums, and Instagram posts from the scene. Not the most polite term, but it's niche slang, not super serious.

Whenever he gets any awards and trophies, they sucked in the abyss called his "trophy collection"
The Car Show Trophy Whore was baited by a prank award that turned out being a "Proud Trophy Whore" t-shirt. Our hero was swayed by the hopes it was a real trophy thus boosting his pride and arrogance. Upon opening the award, it was discovered there was an elaborate plot to prank the trophy whore. The T.W. quickly embraced the joke and added the trophy whore shirt into the plethora of trophies in their collection.
