secret shopper

Refers to members of the less-affluent sector of mall-customers who merely wish to purchase regular groceries and/or household products in bulk, but who do not buy enough yearly volume to justify paying the exorbitant "membership fee" that the "big box" stores like Sam's Club charge. These limited-income folks therefore discreetly approach "enrolled" club-members who have either just arrived at the store or are currently pushing their carts around the aisles, and quietly ask them if they could please also purchase the merchandise that the indigent people want along with the items on their own shopping lists, and then afterwards they all meet back up outside in the parking lot where there are no prying eyes from the store's staff, and the grateful low-income families carefully go over the obliging club-members' store-receipts to total up the costs of the "additionally-purchased" items, and then reimburse the members for the appropriate amounts in cash.

Being a secret shopper can indeed be a great way to save on household-staple items; just watch out for Sam's Club chiselers, however.

boomerang shopper

A person who exits their car at the grocery store and takes an overly cautiously arcing route through the parking lot in order to avoid COVID infected fellow shoppers only to realize, upon reaching the entrance, that their mask is still hanging from their rear view mirror.

Don't worry kids. Daddy will be back in two minutes to get his mask. He's an habitual boomerang shopper.

Zombie shopper

A person(s) who wonders the aisles of stores slowly and aimlessly just looking at products without picking out much to buy. These people are often in the way of whatever you need. Also they might follow you around the store.

I went to the grocery store today and there were hoards of zombie shoppers there. Just standing in front of what ever I needed so I had to wait for them to move on. A couple of them seemed to follow me down every aisle. I finally has to check out and leave the store to keep them away from me.

A window shopper is a well known person or famous idol that ignores their fans' messages or any time someone reaches out to them.

Person A: "I like this music artist! I'll direct message them to praise their work!"

Person B: "I don't recommend it; they're such a Window-Shopper."
