frohican

An afro hairstyle which has been shaven off on either side of the head leaving a puffy strip of 'fro along the centre of the scalp; in its more understated version is known as the frohawk, a shorter frohican more suitable for businessmen or lawyers.

His frohican was the envy of everyone else at the barbeque, particularly because of its startling height and frothy texture.
