fridge triage

An emergency measure aimed at finding something - anything - edible in the fridge. Usually performed by dividing the contents into the palatable, the slightly dicy and the utterly unspeakable.

Two days before payday Jamie was forced to perform fridge triage, and ended up with a large, festering pile of black sludge that growled when he approached, several yogurts that were only a few weeks past their expiry date, and a perfectly edible stick of celery.

Getting filled with hate after seeing, hearing or experiencing something you can't stand.

Person 1 posts something on the internet.
Person 2: "Relax mate, don't be mad"
Person 1 gets triggered, or angered.
Person 1: "THAT'S IT, YOU TRIGGERED ME"
Person 1 continues to bash on Person 2.

A cop out replacing the “N” for “T” for when you accidentally text your new black roommate something meant for your white roommate. Assessment of how triggering someone’s IG is.

Courtney Schaefer @ Georgia Southern University says that she meant to write the word 'triggerish' but that her phone autocorrected it to ‘niggerish’. (A word she most likely commonly uses.)

A warning before showing something that could cause a PTSD reaction. Commonly used as a joke, its meaning has unfortunately depreciated, drawing more stigma to mental illness.

The teacher gave a trigger warning before showing us the rape scene in the movie.
