These expectations are built based on the importance that is given to these moments in academic life. It feels like it is gonna be so special because it only occurs once a week, ( but be filled with intellectual heaviness, intense preparation,life changing content, and require a long digesting time).

This class, repeated over weeks, has continuously the same impact on the students life's / career as a hangout or a casual get-together would have.
